Wellness answers need context and clear limits
An adult wellness guide should state what question it can answer and what it cannot know about an individual.
Use the right source for the question
Product documentation can describe construction. Consent education can explain principles. A qualified clinician can assess symptoms in context. No single webpage provides all three. A source list is useful only when the references actually relate to the claims being made.
Avoid a normality scoreboard
Marketing may imply a correct frequency, size or response. A preference or experience is not a universal target. Ask whether a concern involves distress, discomfort or unwanted pressure rather than assuming difference itself needs correction.
Recognize when more information is not enough
Ongoing pain or a worrying change deserves appropriate care. Fear of declining an activity needs a safety response. More comparisons, a new item or a communication script cannot guarantee a solution. Keep the limits visible instead of using a product as a general remedy.

Before you decide
What part of this question can general education address, and what needs personal support?
Sources and the limits of this guide
The source notes identify what each reference supports. Comparison steps and example wording are editorial guidance. No hands-on testing, clinical review or approval by these organizations is claimed.
- RAINN: Consent 101 — Respect, Boundaries, and Building Trust
Supports clear, voluntary, ongoing agreement and the freedom to stop. Conversation examples here are editorial suggestions, not therapy or legal advice.
- NHS: Low sex drive (loss of libido)
Explains that desire changes can have several causes and that concerns can be discussed with a clinician. It does not diagnose an individual or prescribe a timetable.
- Brown University BWell: Sex Toys
Supports checking condition, stopping when use hurts, discussing boundaries and following manufacturer care instructions. It does not establish a safe size or guarantee suitability.
Source links and relevant sections checked . This is a reference check date, not the source publication date or a clinical review.
For adults 18+. General education only. Health symptoms and treatment questions require individual qualified advice. To report an error, email [email protected] with the page and the detail that needs checking; do not send private health records.
